Welcome to the CCCI Chow Health Website.
The
Chow Chow Club Inc. hopes that you find this site a useful place to
resource and contribute information. Our goal is to educate and to
increase awareness of owners, breeders and admirers on the health and
temperament of the chow chow.
The CCCI Chow Health (formally the
OFA) Database is now online. Click the search link on the main menu.
The online database contains all the OFA and CERF information I have
collected for the club. I hope that by placing the database online, it
will become a useful tool for improving the health of chows.

What is canine influenza (dog flu)?
Dog flu is a contagious respiratory disease in dogs caused by a specific Type A influenza virus referred to as a “canine influenza virus.” This is a disease of dogs, not of humans. the CDC has a very nice article on what dog flu is and how to help prevent it. You may read the article here:
